Brendan Dochney, LPC

Therapist/Owner

Mr. Dochney is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Georgia. Since entering the field Brendan has worked in a variety of settings to include: in home counseling for lower income families, college campus counseling center, short term/crisis management and stabilization on an acute intake hospital unit, and a long term forensic (legal) unit in a hospital. He specializes in young adults, and adults struggling with mood issues/disorders, anxiety related issues/disorders, and thought disorders utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques. Brendan was born in New Jersey and raised in the metro Atlanta area. He received a Master of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Valdosta State University.

Adam Holladay, LPC

Therapist

Mr. Holladay is a Licensed Professional Counselor who was born and raised in Georgia. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Adam specializes in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anger and emotional control, anxiety related issues/disorders, trauma, and other complex behavioral concerns. He employs a client centered approach utilizing a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy as well as play therapy techniques.

Meadow

Office Mascot/Patient Greeter

Meadow is an Australian Shepherd with a general calm and sweet disposition. She enjoys walks in the park and acting like she's better than everyone else. She likes to greet all guests to the office with a quick hello/sniff and then will generally let you be, as she has more important things to attend to (nap). Please let anyone from Dochney Counseling know if you are uncomfortable in any way with dogs/animals and we will accommodate to your comfort level!
